Now I live by the sea, I have to express my love of it through painting. I can walk the Coastal Path from my studio. I have to capture the more undefined nature of the different surfaces of the sea and the changing colours and definition of sand, rocks and cliffs through different times, seasons and weather conditions.
I am exploring different techniques of dripping, spattering and stippling acrylic paint on large canvas’s, to get the effects I need. I am loving experimenting with a new media, and, of course, my methods are again, very physical!

I hope that my work communicates the physical energy and emotional buzz that has created every piece.
