A one day Batik Workshop held at my studio, Westward Ho!During this 5 hour workshop I will lead you through some exercises to gradually learn the effects possible, when using the Batik proccess of hot wax and bright coloured dyes, on fabric. In these exercises you will produce a piece of Art work.In the second half of the day, you will be able to work on your own individual idea, to complete and take home! You may like to bring photos and images with you , on which to base your design. Batik compositions work very successfully when using LINE, TEXTURE and COLOUR. There will also be many images for you to use in my studio. |

timetable of the day will be- 9.30 -10.00am - registration 10.00 -1.00pm - workshop, including demonstrations, examples and practical experiments. Lunch until 2.00pm - a buffet lunch is included in the price of this day course. 2.00 - 4.00pm - workshop practical The price for this workshop is £40 - this includes all materials used.
