JANET JOPSON
I work with the three techniques of Batik, lino-cut Printmaking and Painting with Acrylics.

I use a free, physically energetic, and individual style to create light, texture and the atmosphere of a particular time and place. My work builds up in texture and colour overlay,to suggest depth. My compositions explore local scenes and memories and can be inspired by my favorite contempory and historical artists.
